Haven McCall serves as a lecturer in the MS in Regulatory Science and MS in Biotechnology programs at Johns Hopkins University. With over 20 years of leadership experience in clinical research, quality, and regulatory roles at major multinational corporations, he is recognized as an expert in advancing healthcare standards and practices.
Dr. McCall completed his doctoral studies at the University of Southern California, focusing on improving patient care standards through risk mitigation and quality principles. He is an active member of several professional organizations, including the Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative, Society of Clinical Research Associates, Regulatory Affairs Professionals Society, American Society for Quality, Project Management Institute, and The Organization for Professionals in Regulatory Affairs.
Through these affiliations, he has contributed to advancing industry best practices, standards, and regulatory frameworks. In his role as an institutional official, Dr. McCall oversees the Human Research Protection Program, ensuring the rights, safety, and welfare of human subjects are safeguarded. He also manages the Institutional Review Board (IRB), ensuring all research adheres to ethical standards and federal regulations.
In addition to his professional endeavors, Dr. McCall has taught graduate-level courses in clinical research, quality, and regulatory science at various universities, sharing his extensive knowledge with future industry leaders.
